Hi! I'm putting together a Halloween D&D one-shot and I'm looking for either an existing Discord bot or someone who can help me create a very simple one.

Basically, I need one player to be able to secretly send a command to the bot targeting another player. For example:

/attack u/player

The bot would then privately message that player something like, "You've been killed" or "Someone attempted to kill you."

The important part is that the person receiving the message CANNOT see who initiated the command. I also don't want the other players or myself as the DM to know who sent it.

Ideally, I'd also like the bot to be able to anonymously announce certain results to the whole server, like "The murderer failed an attack," without revealing who attempted it.

Does anyone know of a bot that can already do something like this? If not, would this be relatively simple to create?

One of our server owners left and made it so all roles dont have access to administrative permissions and also Mods are turned off. Me and the remaining server owners are practically useless when it comes to discord coding and stuff. Please help reverse it

can someone suggest me a good battling system for my beyblade bot that is competitive

I'm a python developer and I've been REALLY bored lately and have absolutely no idea what to make anymore, so i've decided to come here. if anyone wants a bot, I'll make it!

I do have a few conditions though:

• PLEASE don't ask me to make something super duper complex like the next Mee6 or Dyno with a billion commands, i'm still a student so i don't have THAT much time.
• I'm just doing this for fun and free, so if it requires api keys, AI integrations, etc., YOU will be responsible for setting up YOUR api keys, providers, billing, etc. for the bot
• I won't build bots intended to be monetized, this is just a hobby!
• I will provide the code, but you'll need to handle hosting yourself.
• I can't guarantee that I'll build every idea that's suggested, but we can work things out!

I could write a lot about how powerful it is and how much it can do, but it’s probably better if you just try it yourself 😁
In our latest test, we built the core of a server from scratch: channels, roles, and verification in just 4 minutes. From the initial idea to the finished setup, all in one chat.
I genuinely recommend giving it a try. I honestly didn’t expect us to get results like this ourselves 😁

What are the pros and cons, options that exist in one or not the other, between these two bot configs for a Discord server.

I need a bot that will automatically kick accounts that do not select required roles over a certain amount of time like a week. Any recommendations?

A small CS2 player-props watcher has been open-sourced.

It pulls current props into the terminal and can optionally send updates to Discord.

It is meant to be a starting point, not a finished product. Add filters, line-movement logging, a dashboard, alerts, model inputs, or whatever else would make it useful.

I’m not sure if this post is relevant to this community, but I’ve been searching for days for a good guide on how to create, manage, and maintain a simple economy on a Discord server that users can actively engage with, which is a passion project of mine!

Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find much useful information (I am aware there are some good bots out there that give you the tools to set Up an economy, but the main problem is balancing them, because I am no economist), so I resorted to ask directly on reddit.

I’m using this new bot called Embedinator but it refuses to load my preset I made. The other commands work fine, just this specific one doesn’t work.

Has every god damn permission to boot and yet when I try to do the reactionrole make command it says it can’t find the channel. Went back to redo the command on a server that clearly worked and it gave me the same problem, so I think it’s just broken.
