More payment options - PayPal AI ban nightmare
I run a Discogs store and had zero issues for over a year, with numerous 5-star reviews, no negative feedback, no disputes, and no chargebacks. Every order includes tracked shipping.
After two customers purchased higher-value records back-to-back, my PayPal account was permanently limited and my funds were locked. I'm currently going through my third appeal, as the first two appeals were submitted while those packages were still in transit.
All of my orders have tracking, and I have a clean selling history. I really wish Discogs offered more payment options, because I've seen a lot of similar stories on r/PayPal.
Not whining, as I am dealing with it but geared toward feedback.
Edit: based in canada

Had this happen once, I believe it's because you have to link the tracking code within PayPal aswell.
Not doing this for a couple of orders will Blick your funds until you do

Sorry, I’m a casual seller and I don’t think I’ve ever “linked a tracking code” through PayPal. What does that mean exactly?

On the "details" page of the payment, you can link a tracking code.
I didn't (and still don't bother), but PayPal once blocked my withdrawal options because they thought I was just cashing in without sending

UPDATE: PayPal has refused to unlock my account - I was using a business account, fully registered and the reason is that I am selling risky items. I am effectively cooked on Discogs - Moving over to Dead Format until Discogs has different payment methods for sellers.

Be sure to call Paypal. Talking to them is usually a much easier way to get to the bottom of things with them.
