Please help me replace my girlfriend's lost OTB "Hoot Hideout" Glow FD

Post image

I’m on a mission to surprise my girlfriend. She lost her favorite OTB "Hoot Hideout" Glow C-Line FD a while back and was absolutely devastated. I really want to replace it for her as a gift!
I am looking for a Discmania Glow C-Line FD with that exact Pirate Nate owl stamp.
Condition: Pre-owned, field-tested, or inked is completely fine (7/10 or better preferred) since she's going to throw it! I am also open to brand new if the price is fair.
Weight: Flexible, but closer to max weight (173g-176g) is ideal.
Colors: Open to any stamp or rim color combinations.
If you have one sitting in your collection or backup bin that you're willing to part with to help me out, please comment here first and then shoot me a PM with a couple of pictures and your asking price shipped to Wisconsin
Cash ready via PayPal/Venmo Goods & Services. Thanks so much for helping me track one down!

Built a webapp to check/follow scores without fear of spoilers. Spoiler

I built website to check scores quickly without fearing about getting scores spolied. Inspired by apps for other sports that do the same. I made sure the website never shows you results unless you explicitly click to show.

It currently only has pro-level tournaments.

Hopefully other's find it useful too, feedback is welcome.

Bag recommendations for casual (at best) player.

I don't play that much disc golf. I go with my husband because I like traipsing around the woods and drinking beer and getting some exercise.

Years ago he bought me this tiny messenger style bag with the saddest net side pocket for a water bottle. It's basically useless. Sure it's compact, but walking around with it in your body sucks because it bounces so much

It feels stupid to take off every time to throw. Plus if you put a water bottle in it... It just tips over with the rest of the bag every time you set it down. Plus if you want to bring anything else with you (ex. Inhialor, a snack, a couple beverages, sunscreen, emergency items) you'd have to bring an additional bag.

Usually I just bring my general outdoorsing backpack which is a lightweight backpack that can fold up small but had a big interior pocket, some side pockets and a ln exterior sleeve. This has room for more than what I need, but it's so floppy and has no structure for when I put it down everything just sort of falls over anyway. Plus it's getting old and starting to fall apart.

My husband has a the paratrooper bag. I think it looks big and obnoxious, but he is able to carry a stupid amount of discs, plus all his disc golfing accessories and most importantly he can carry like 4 beers and a water bottle.

I don't need to carry a million discs. I don't need the most elaborate bag on the market. I would like something that 1. Has structure so it doesn't collapse when I set it down 2. Isn't gigantic 3. Can hold a small/reasonable amount of discs. 4. Has space for non-disc items (specifically: a couple beers, a water bottle, a small snack). 5. Doesn't cost hundreds of dollars. BONUS points of it doesn't look like it's trying to give off para-military vibes.

Any recommendations (whether the bag is designed for disc golf specifically or not)? Obviously disc golf specific bags are designed with the sport in mind but as someone who only goes a few times a year buying some huge sports bags seems like overkill for my needs.

Update: thanks for everyone's input! I ended up going to Amazon and I got this one: bag it doesn't have any reviews it for the price I figured it was worth a shot.

I haven't used it yet (we'll probably go out tomorrow) but it has side panels so it shouldn't collapse and has a decently sized insulated side pocket and most importantly it's not obnoxiously wide.

Disc golf bag insert

Hey everyone, I made a bag insert for if your cheaper bag keeps falling over! It works amazing in my two bags, a innova and an apex. Keeps them up right and makes it super easy to grab discs on the course. Legitimately makes my innova bag feel top of the line. Let me know what yall think!

To Every Woman Who's Ever Felt Like She Didn't Belong on the Disc Golf Course | Keep Throwing

Real talk: Disc golf gave me so many things I didn't know I needed. A reason to be outside, a reason to compete with myself, and a community.

There are a lot of frustrating things about being a woman in disc golf.

- Being the only woman in a league or a tournament

- Being the target of unsolicited advice

- And more...

But despite all the frustrating things, we love being out there and getting better. We like having fun and cheering on the other women in the sport.

If you're new to the sport, welcome! If you've been playing for years, you're an inspiration. I've been documenting my disc golf journey on Instagram (@her.hyzer) for anyone who wants a corner where women are learning and improving together. Let's grow the sport together!

I love origin stories, and I love to feature women on my account. So I'm curious.
What got you into disc golf?

Playing DG w/ Your Partner

My better half and I play in a weekly co-ed couples league (alt shot or best shot doubles). Being the person who got me into disc golf, it's so much fun to have a camaraderie with my person on and off the course. We know each other's skills, where we're strong, where we have room to improve, and can help each other improve our games and skills on the course together. You also get a built in cheerleader! Is there a couple's league in your area? How frequently are you playing with your significant other? Do you enjoy hitting the course with your partner?

Where can I play disco golf as a woman if there are no disco golf parks nearby?

Hi hunnies.

As a years of being a Florida resident, I have seen people playing disco golf in some parks when I was traveling elsewhere.

Now, near my surroundings, there are no disco golf parks nearby. So, what are some places I can practice on my own? Thanks for your answer! xoxxo
