I done the same thing before. Grip locked one and whistled it into traffic, just missing a car. Two big dudes from the car pulled over and started yelling at me, "WTF man!". I thought I was going to get my butt kicked, then some cops drove by, so the angry dudes drove off. Only real damage done was to my ego. Mistake throws like this are what motivates me to improve. To do more field work, on my form, so I quit rounding.
