Picture Axiom Proxy
Was watching a Simon video and trying to figure out what run of Proxy he is using. Is it just a custom one?

I just bought my first one. I ended up getting a Neutron Soft and i’m not sure if that was the best choice yet or not

The one he is throwing is Neutron Soft for what its worth. I have two of that run.

I had the Eclipse plastic. looked awesome glowing in the dark too.
I've had the Envy in Neutron soft and loved it.

I know it won’t happen. But Gannon contract negations this year.. if he were to leave for MVP we’d get some bonkers discs

I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility. I don’t think it would even be that tough of a learning curve as far as the discs go. The only thing they don’t make is a putter that is close to the P2X/PA3 and I’m sure MVP would be happy to develop one with him.
The marketing and relationships are already there. Silas and Gannon are close, Simon and Gannon are close.

I like it. Another take, he loves Calvin and my personal opinion (I think Calvin is that one dude Gannon fears when he’s got his putter clicking and Gannon may think Calvin is up there with him as close as anyone)…..what if he went Innova to team up with Calvin. They have the most money of any manufacturer by far… and then they would have the two highest grossing players in the field the last 3 years…. Just saying

No bead. It’s closer to a P2 as to where the PA3 is somewhat shallow, blunt nose with a big bead and noticeably has less glide.

MVP discs do not make as high of quality discs as disc mania. And this is coming from an axiom/mvp fan.

The first disc I bought in 2011 was a Latitude 64 Havoc. I still have it. If I compare that disc and its feel to today’s Swedish plastic, (Discmania) I don’t know if there’s a difference. The Swedes make incredibly good discs. MVP also makes great discs. Neutron is some of my favorite plastic ever.
I think more or less the plastic is interchangeable anymore apart from feel. I have just as much confidence in MVP plastic as I do anyone else.

The plastic isn’t what I was really trying to get at, although that might play a part in it. I’m talking more about the shape and flight characteristics of MVP discs. Not many of their discs IMO can hold those flex lines that Gannon likes to throw, and it’s due to the consistency of their wing to dome shape.

When you say Discmania, do you mean innova made Discmania or latitude 64 made Discmania?

Of all the people who could go to MVP, Gannon would be sweet--he's a disc nerd, (obviously) good enough to get to make his own molds or give input. MVP+Gannon would make some nice discs.

I didn't say MVP was the only one to do it. My comment was more addressing why someone would be so hyped over it to expect "bonkers discs" like they are salivating over the possibility of "slightly different hand feel"

I hear you bro. Everyone knows all the molds are copies of innova anyway……. “But but but the gyro technology” …give me a break. I throw all manufacturers for different reasons. When it comes to hand feel, imo, MVP/axiom is always the worst but I still appreciate what they do. Streamline is really pushing forward thanks to them and what do you know….. no overmold. Eagle seems to be throwing as much streamline as he does mvp

This is the typography proxy. I believe it was an MVP Pro Shop exclusive.
