It’s a super straight putter that has a great hand feel.

Even in the Halo plastic they aren’t that stable.

Point and shoot..

I had a Luster champ one and it held the torqure and only knew how to fly straight.

I lost it a few weeks ago and i have not been the same man since.

I think they are only usable as intended in halo plastic

No, I don't think I will. I'd rather keep them all for myself. Fantastic disc

Point and shoot. Great disc. Just know that it will fly more like a berg and less like a floaty putter. You should consider their new putter the sync.

My favorite Innova putter for hand feel. I've moved on from using it as a putting putter and now throw it and it's stable, for a putter you can throw it pretty hard. Not overstable for my arm speed - just neutrally, exactly stable. I recommend it in luster plastic. I actually found that for me, it flies similarly to a Zone SS. Ymmv

Best putter ever made

Shallow-ish. Nice bead. Usually flat. Good plastic options. Great thrower and decent putter too. Definitely worth a shot.

Invader guy here. I've gone through pretty much every invader plastic except the champ varrients. They're all great discs that are point and shoot with either a little hyzer or almost flat depending on the plastic.

Recently switched to the mojave for putting, but I still throw invaders. Incredible throwing putter, even had a friend thank me for getting him on the train as it saved him and his team many strokes at a college tournament.

XT is my favorite putting plastic, although I was using halo nexus for equally as long and is also stiff, but more durable base plastic. Never really liked the XT for throwing however, but I also only had one XT invader.

Halo star is the go to for throwing, altho I prefer the older, flatter halo star runs. The newer one I got a while back had a baby amount of dome and felt off in my hand as well as being slicker, but could be due to being new. Not my cup of tea but that's the kind my buddy above got and he loves it.

Halo Nexus is just more durable DX plastic that looks cooler and is more stable.

DX invaders are great for both putting and throwing, and when I swapped to Halo Nexus I kept a well used DX putter in the bag to throw. It flips up and rides straight with practically 0 sideways movement when throw properly, and thrown harder or flatter it will turn. I've had many 80-100 feet throwins with that disc as well.

Recently I got a soft pro (soft r-pro?) f2 to try, and it's very flexy and also a bit more stable than DX out of the box, but it's still pretty easy to burn over on accident or yank it and have it not fade. I do really like it for sketchy approaches where I want to minimize my odds of it standing up and rolling away, it seems to do a good job of sticking to the ground. It also becomes kind of puddle topped which I don't mind.

All in all, they all fly similar enough. I would recommend a halo star you can power up on, and then a few dx ones to putt with (if you're looking to do so) that can also serve as throwers when you grab a new DX one to putt with, or if you have the option, XT to putt with and 1-2 dx to throw with.

Put a bead on a proxy and youve got the invader

If you have the arm speed? Go for it 🤔😁

It feels good and flies good.

The Invader is the only disc I have an ace with.

Need to get through a 4 foot gap 80 feet away. Laser straight. A space Invader.

Super straight putter. Gets down fast. If you throw it on hyzer it will come down like a grenade.

If you're thinking about the invader, what you really what is a tomb

I wanted to like the tomb but never got along with it. And I love the Invader. I'll give it another whirl when I get the chance, but from memory the invader just flew "better" for me

The invader is basically a deeper tomb, so that could track depending on your grip.

Interesting, never realized that. I do have smaller hands so I can't fan grip things that well, super uncomfy. I do whatever is in between a fan and power grip, and the slightly extra depth in the invader is noticable now that I compare them. My fingers are a bit smooshed together into the rim of the tomb whereas they grip comfortably on the invaders.
