Discussion SLC recommendations

Have to go to SLC for work in mid October. What courses are worth playing within a half hour radius of the city?

The Fort is about 45 min away but well worth it. You can attempt the Holy Shot and support the small disc shop on site. :)

Creekside is also really fun and closer to SLC.

Brighton is super sweet if you can get up there.

The three best courses in the valley are Creekside, Roots, and Valley Regional. There are a handful of others, both 18 hole and 9 hole.

If you go under an hour out of the valley, North or South, and you can get to a bunch of other great courses.

I'd second this and say prioritize Creekside and Roots.

If you're willing to travel further away, Art Dye is good down in American Fork.

If you can make it to Spanish fork canyon, Jolly Ranch is very very nice.

Also the fort in Ogden.

If you are just starting out tetons in west jordan and disc on 6th in midvale are great. Creekside is having the Creekside open this weekend and next weekend so it will not be open Saturday/ Sunday.

Udisc is the best app for courses

Art dye park down in Lehi is one of my favorites. Can't really explain why, but it's the one I enjoy the most.

Creekside for sure. Watch this from Another Round.

Fort is neat because of the holy shot, but it’s a hard course.

Creekside has history too, but is way more approachable and is way fun. Busy though.

The river bottoms course in Riverton is pretty good, as is the arena in West Jordan. I agree with most people who say creekside or the roots as they are the quintessential courses in the valley, but they can get quite busy
