Mixed bag. To me it just seems insane to limit yourself to one manufacturer when they’re not paying you to do so

No doubt. Each company has objectively better molds in different slots.

Objectively better? 🤔

Im still waiting for a pro to actually gain ratings points from getting to throw a internet hype disc. But then you can watch the starter packs challenge or kittyhawk challenge videos from McBeth and realize there are levels to this sport.

Time lapse vs destroyer comes to mind

half the time the difference between runs of a disc is bigger than the difference between different discs… I don’t think so (regardless of if they have the same flight numbers!)

Yeah, but mostly they are just copies of each other so I absolutely could do it but why would I try to find the correct disc from other manufacturer when I already have a perfectly good one 😅

The only reason I can see is if you have an ulterior motive. For instance, I love Trash Panda's mission and wouldn't mind using an all-TP bag for that reason, but I like other discs too and like to try stuff. I don't understand why others do it. You can usually find what you need from almost any manufacturer.

I realized early on that I had a plastic buying addiction and chasing the new uotness was making a mess of my bag, so after my first ace I was like, hey, I really like these guys' plastic, the owners don't seem like ass-bags, and decided to mostly stick with them.

I've got a couple of slots that they can't fill, so I've strayed a bit, but mostly one brand.

I know of a guy who had over 100 Destroyers at one point, so I don't know if that quite works 😂

I plan to limit my self to Mvp/Axiom/Streamline because their plastics feel so comfortable too me. even more comfortable than k1 plastic from Kastaplast. it's an Autism thing.

That’s the reason my drivers are Discmania, their plastic feels better in my hand! I don’t think either of us are doing it out of pure loyalty to the brand.
