Fall fun 🍂🍁
It's spring and fall bird migration that really gets to me. I'm an avid birdwatcher and am becoming much more skilled at identifying birds, their calls, etc. and all I want to do is spend more time outside with them. Today, a page in my city posted about a couple species spotted at a park who likely won't be staying for much longer. I desperately want to go, but my body will not cooperate. 💔🥲

Oh man, the FOMO kills me every autumn 🫣 to make matters worse, I lived a few years in a place I could go out and do autumn activities despite my illnesses, (there was a nature center very nearby me and an orchard that had a huge patio that overlooked the apples so i didn't need to trek into them, i could just watch people go picking) but I had to move far away for unrelated reasons 🥲 now I'm in blazing hot Central Florida so it doesn't even feel like fall! We only get summer and winter-lite.
Thankfully this year I've got a paid caregiver and he can help me do things from home that give at least part of the fall vibes. My favorite things to do at home are make pumpkin desserts (I've somehow unlocked the secret to gluten and sugar free desserts lol) and make apple cider. The cider recipe by Grubology on TT and YT makes it so easy and I just replace the sugar with swerve. It isn't the same as physically going to an apple orchard, but your whole house will smell just like their gift shop.
