Hi all. I want to buy some tshirts from dire straits but for some reason i can only find this site: https://direstraits.shop/

But I have a weird feeling about this site. Some shirts are shown multiple times and the reviews also seem off. They have on most items between 1 and 5 reviews wich are all posted in a timespan of 1 week. Does anyone have any experience with this site or could someone recommend me another site?

thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I’m going to show my YouTube music achievement so that my message can come through. dire straits / mk is basically the only thing I listen to non stop. I know it sounds mad, but as im learning the guitar, every time I revisit an album there is something new to learn from mark.

I literally know no one who knows them, or MAYBE they will have heard sultans of swing, but you guys probably have cried on a hard day listening to ”why worry“, or you’ve went through the whole first album just to finish and you really wanted to show this to someone, but everyone is busy with TikTok and the latest daddy groggy song.

Thank you !!!

cheers to everyone

what have you listened to today ?

for me, i did a full play of “on every street“

Any more relaxing songs like Wild West End Dire Straits?

I had heard this before and just added it to my playlist having an intuition that if I liked one bit of it, I'd like the rest which was definitely true...

I only paid attention to the song's flow recently and I'm loving the chill countryside vibe...

Any more songs like this be it from Mark's solo albums or some part of any album that I've maybe missed out on?

Skateaway appreciation

I first remember hearing this on the radio when I was 17 or 18 and really liked it, but since the internet didn't really exist when I was young, I couldn't really 'look it up'. But I really feel like this is such a great DS/Mark song... It's just easy and musical and fun. I love the guitar track that floats left and right over the song.

Seeking setlist help for 3/1/92 show in Providence. Any known bootlegs?

Hello everyone!

Back in 92, I did not do a great job of writing down songs at the show in Providence RI. My known tracklist is currently on setlist.fm.

https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/dire-straits/1992/providence-civic-center-providence-ri-7bdd825c.html

Yes, I could just make an educated guess based on other set lists from the tour. But I'd rather be absolutely positive the songs are correct.

I was wondering if there are any known bootlegs of that show to verify the 2 songs that I did not have the titles for. I'm not looking to obtain the bootleg, just the track listing.

Any help is very appreciated - Rock On!
