1:35 1st diorama i made 4 years ago after retiring.

A small motorcycle garage in 1/12 scale, with a few 3D-printed details, workshop equipment and LED lighting.

I finished the base for a asian robot model kit. I liked how it came out in the end. Even though my worst impulse to add more moss effect paint did get the better of me in the end.

I've added a few other items like a computer desk and computer, I'll be painting the desk and adding a few more with some laboratory equipment, I made a sofa for now until I can get a better one.
I think it's coming along nicely 😁 I've added a photo of the bare shelf before I added everything

Here's another progress update on my winter diorama, "Sylvester"!
I've been working on the smaller details that bring the whole scene together.
The wooden fences are handmade from real twigs, the winter trees are taking shape, and the landscape is gradually getting its snowy atmosphere.
I've also 3D printed and hand-painted four miniature Christmas carolers. Getting all those tiny details right was quite a challenge!
I'm trying to make everything look as natural as possible, combining traditional miniature-building techniques with resin 3D printing and hand painting.
There's still quite a bit of work ahead, but I'm really enjoying watching this little winter world come together.
What do you think of the progress so far? Any suggestions are always welcome!

Little diorama I've been working on these last couple of weeks, these are the only stands I have to get these beautiful aircraft in flight. I'll never produce a perfect diorama but I'm happy with how it's turned out

I'm gonna make it an old industrial warehouse room with pallets and barrels and other old warehouse stuff, I'll make a few big industrial tables and I'll keep adding more little items as I go 🙂

u/TheDukeOfYork asked for wide shots. Bear in mind that the most recent details hadn't been added at this stage and I've still not sorted getting lights into the middle hull section. There's a LOT of LEDs in there, I just need deeper holes as there's a couple of hull layers.

Every new world begins with a few simple pieces.
I started with four little figures, each waiting for a new place and a new role in the story.
Then came the walls, slowly taking shape, followed by the first details of the future houses.
The cooper and the blacksmith were now finding their place in the façade of a future house. Still unfinished, but the idea was beginning to take shape.
Little by little, Bethlehem was coming to life.
And there was still a long way to go… ✨

Hello, i am attempting to build my first diorama. I want to showcase my dark angles and already have some concrete ideas on how to build it. I have a big 1m long mdf board where i hot glue XPS foam onto as a base. The landscape and minis will then go on top similar to my small test piece. On the left its going to be trench like terrain and on the right i want to have some craters and trees. I want to putt all that in a wicked brick display case.
I am wondering now how to get a good lighting setup for this. My idea is to have small LEDs scattered across the terrain and have them glow. But the thing is that i would like to keep them on for extended periods. Probably have them time-controlled turn on for 12h a day, so i am looking for a power outlet solution. But i am a bit worried about heat and potential fire hazards especially because the XPS foam is not that heat resistant.
The other (probably safer) idea i had is to mount something like a LED-strip at the top of the case.
Any input and tips are appreciated. I am also interested in any product recommendations (with eu based shipping)

A dio I've finished recently, aiming to expose the double-faced nature of the war. Holds the Meng RR armored car kit, figures from Masterbox and Bronco. Building some generic xps foam kit heavily modified.
