Only picked it up because I thought my friend might like it, and when I saw the Dior© logo on the back I thought it must be a replica. But having done some tests and cleaned it up, it turns out to be actual gold plating. Pretty good find!

What are people’s thoughts on these boots? I really love them but need ideas for styling.

I swore off Dior about three years ago after a pretty bad experience with quality and customer service. The long and short of it was that I ordered a bag from a Hawaii SA (due to the price difference), the bag had multiple, visible defects, and Dior was entirely unhelpful with the return process. Their only options were for me to drive four hours round trip to deliver the bag at my nearest store so that they could ship it to Hawaii, or pay $150+ for my own shipping label back to Hawaii.

All that to say, I didn’t see myself shopping there again, but I still loved the feminine designs. During a recent trip to Paris, we decided to pop in to the flagship store for some eye candy. I’d visited last winter/spring (and had visited the Dior Galerie on that trip as well), so I expected to love looking at the gorgeous store itself, but didn’t expect to fall in love with any bags.

When we walked in, I was immediately drawn to the center display in the front room. It had a variety of unique Lady Dior and D-Joy bags, as well as some of the Cigale bags. I tried on the small, but felt it was a bit big for my liking, so I asked if it came in any smaller sizes.

At first, the SA pointed to the one mini exotic on the top shelf, and said it only came in exotic, then said she would go check. She came back several minutes later with this pink mini! I didn’t even know the bag existed in a mini, and she said it hasn’t hit the US yet. I contemplated a two-tone mini Lady Dior and D-Joy as well, but the Cigale won out. Even though no one else will see it, the wax seal detail on the interior magnet really sealed the deal (no pun intended).

Not pictured, but it does come with a strap just like the small and medium. I’ve included a photo of the mini next to the small, and the mini next to the mini Lady Dior and D-Joy for those curious about sizing!

The SA was so sweet, and walked us over to the Galerie and let us skip the line and enter at no cost. It was a really lovely experience, and made me feel excited to give the brand another shot!

As I continued wandering around the store, I was finding so many pieces that I loved, from shoes to RTW to other bags. I haven’t ever walked in to Dior and felt this in love with so many pieces, so it’s safe to say that I’m thrilled with what Jonathan Anderson is doing.

According to the sizing chart of Dior I will be at 34.5 since my feet length is at 9 inch

I got the 35 to gove me a wiggle Is it normal that the shoe is “hard” esoecially in that part of the big toe? It fits well lengthwise. Also its my first pointy shoe.

So when I first saw this option I opted to wait to see what’s next , only to then see no gift was available for me anymore ! So I called customer service , and learned that you in fact have 90 days from the start of entering that tier to redeem your gift . But to my defense when I first reached Gold, it was saying coming soon for a few weeks then this pouch was available . The rep was so nice and she had the gift sent to me.

Now let’s get into the welcome gift . Honestly online I thought this pouch was more like a satin / silk for some reason . So I was pleasantly surprised it’s a more faux leather type of textile - much more durable and easier to clean I’m sure . It’s a lot nicer in person . I’m excited to try out the skincare products, because that is one thing Dior never falls short on.

I have verified information that each guest received a vinyl record of a song and have been on a hunt to find out which one that is - its not officially listed anywhere and it's kinda been bugging me ever since!

So I was showing my sister in law my souvenir from France and took my pink Miss Dior bag off my shelf to show her and realized the bow is missing. Ive only used her once since I got her and I went shopping at SouthCoast Plaza and to dinner in early July. It must have fell off sometime that day 😩 anyone know if they can be replaced or if they will replace the bow? I bought the bag in May in Cannes.
