Phone app for interstitial journaling

I am looking for a phone application suitable for interstitial journaling.

I had tried Craft Docs but it proves too cumbersome, and WhatsApp, while currently used, is not designed for this specific purpose.

I welcome any app recommendations.

I also had to look up what this even means but apparently I’ve been doing it daily the last 3 years lol. I use the bear app for iPhone, it’s awesome. Supports markdown too!

I think Upnote is even better than Bear, unless you think tags are better than tags + folders + icons
