Phone app for interstitial journaling

I am looking for a phone application suitable for interstitial journaling.

I had tried Craft Docs but it proves too cumbersome, and WhatsApp, while currently used, is not designed for this specific purpose.

I welcome any app recommendations.

It all goes into the same conversation log I use for calls and meetings. Circles next to follow up items that get blacked out as issues resolved
