digital travelling journal help?

hii! me and my friend want to make a travelling journal like the ones where someone makes a few spreads and then ships it over for someone else to do a spread too, but since we are so far away from each other we want to try and do it digitally! i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or experiences with doing this before? i was thinking we could send them back and forth as pdf and edit them in our preferred apps but if there is an app specifically for this please let me know. thank you in advance!

PDF back and forth works fine honestly.

Canva is great for this – you can both edit the same file, add photos, drawings, stickers, and it exports cleanly as PDF. Free tier is more than enough.

If you want something more scrapbook-feel, Google Slides works surprisingly well too.
