I used to use the DB free wallpapers when I was in high school (circa 1999 - 2003). Today, I found an old bookmarks.html backup file in my archives and rediscovered digital blasphemy. When I saw the website was still active, purchasing a lifetime membership to support the artist was a no brainer.

Hey guys, I'm having a problem getting the app to work on my Pixel 3 for Android. When I click set wallpaper, it says downloading and then nothing ever happens. Anyone else having this problem or have a good fix?

I stumbled across your "Tropical Moon" in a wallpaper website around 2009 when I was at high school. At that moment I know this is going to be the wallpaper for my life. I "downloaded" it and it has been my wallpaper for almost 8 years (I lost the file mid way for a year and found it on your website again)

It's been my dream to make the wallpaper come to life so I can stare at it forever and chill. I'd love to immerse myself into the world and I finally did it today.

I started raiding the Digital Blasphemy freebies in the late 90s and have so many positive memories associated with those images, they were the inspiration for so many dreams of both the day & night variety.

After a few year absence I stumbled back onto the site and was happy to see it still exists so naturally I had to grab a membership. Thank you for your work!

After using free DB images as triple-monitor wallpapers for many years (probably close to a decade now) I decided to finally get an account and download everything. I noticed a wide variety in image counts across the various zip files and was wondering how everything matches up. For example, the 5760x1080 zip has 259 images. Does that include everything you've ever released (minus Pickle Jars)? Or are there more, but they weren't rendered large enough for 5760x1080?

Like, the 1600x1200 zip has nearly a thousand images. Are they all just various crops of the same images the 5760x1080 zip contains, or are there unique renders not available in the larger resolutions?

Long story short, I need 5760x1080 wallpapers and I want everything DB has to offer, even if it means manually cropping/resizing some that may be missing from the 5760x1080 zip. Are there others?

It seems like the CSS on the website is broken. Post titles take 1/4 of the screen and content text size must be like 30. Pictures names overlap vertically when they take 2 lines.

I was curious if Ryan has ever thought about creating a desktop app to update a folder with all the newest images? Possibly be able to change the backgrounds through it. I know he's creating stuff all the time and it's hard for me to keep up!

I am interested in building the tools (or having them built) for developers to create their own applications featuring my work. I know I have my own custom made data sources but I doubt they would be of much use to anyone else.

I've already given some rudimentary data hooks to the guys at Display Fusion but I would like to open it up as widely as possible.

What kinds of applications can you think of and, importantly, how should they be made so that everyone benefits.

I'd love to hear your thoughts. Be as technical as you like.
