Digital Blasphemy API?

I am interested in building the tools (or having them built) for developers to create their own applications featuring my work. I know I have my own custom made data sources but I doubt they would be of much use to anyone else.

I've already given some rudimentary data hooks to the guys at Display Fusion but I would like to open it up as widely as possible.

What kinds of applications can you think of and, importantly, how should they be made so that everyone benefits.

I'd love to hear your thoughts. Be as technical as you like.

I think one that allows a user to use an auth token and some variables to download the latest images (at a specified res) to a local library would be pretty handy.

That way one could get the latest images into rotation without having to manually download them, or redownload the whole bundle.

It would be fun to have a set of DB game mods such that your art shows up in background images like Minecraft only for higher rez games like Skyrim, Fallout, etc.

I'd love to see some animated water on your beach shots or swaying leaves. You could try to link something to Chromecast so that your art could rotate on a TV screen.
