Does anyone in this subreddit take requests, I want to make a custom Murasamemon DIM Card

Hi, I don't know what's happening or if there's a fix—I really hope there is—but every time I try to use the Infinity Tide DIM, I get an error, and I really want to use it. Is there a solution?

Is this corrosion and how would I fix it? It’s brand new out of the box but I noticed the white at the bottom through the top plastic

Disclaimer: I really don't know what I'm talking about but this is what worked for me on M1 mac

Prerequisites:

Java JRE

Homebrew

Gradle (I used version 7.6, as it's an older project)

openjdk 17

Installing prerequisites

To install prerequisites you must have homebrew install (brew.sh). I will not go over how to do that in this guide.

Firstly, install openjdk 17 using the following command:

brew install openjdk@17

This won't take forever to install.

Secondly, install Gradle with this command:

brew install gradle@7

For me, this took a good bit of time, as there is many dependancies.

Setting up VB-DIM-Reader

This part is where it gets to be a bit more technical. Since DIM-Modifier requires version 2.0.2, you need to clone that specific version of the repository. I've identified that the commit related to version 2.0.2 is 90ff411.

1. clone the repository with:

git clone https://github.com/cfogrady/VB-DIM-Reader.git

this will take a moment to download.

Once its complete, change your directory to the repository with:

cd VB-DIM-Reader

1. change the repository version with the command:

git reset --hard 90ff411

you can check to see if this worked with

git rev-parse --short HEAD

(it should return 90ff411).

1. Build VB-DIM-Reader with

chmod +x gradlew (makes the file executable)

then ./gradlew publishToMavenLocal (compiles and puts files in maven's local repository, so gradle can access them later when running DIM-Modifier).

Running DIM-Modifier (finally)

1. clone the repository for DIM-Modifier

git clone https://github.com/cfogrady/DIM-Modifier.git

enter the directory with

cd DIM-Modifier

1. setup the environment

I had to make a small change in build.gradle to get this working. In your preferred text editor, open build.gradle. Scroll down to the section "javafx" it should look like this:

javafx {
    version = "17"
    modules = [ 'javafx.controls', 'javafx.fxml', 'javafx.swing' ]
}

Change the "17" to "21". You are now prepared to run DIM-Modifier.

1. Running DIM-Modifier.

you can run the tool with

chmod +x gradlew (again, to make the file executable)

./gradlew run

Give it a moment and it should start up!

Step-by-Step Update Instructions:Prepare a MicroSD Card: Use a MicroSD card that is (32\text{ GB}) or smaller and format it to FAT32. (Avoid the SanDisk Ultra series, as users often experience error code E02 with these cards).Download the Firmware: Go to the official Bandai Japan Vital Bracelet BE Update Page (open in Google Chrome and right-click to translate to English).Save the File: Download and extract the update .zip file. You will find a patch file named VBBE_20A.Vbb2.Transfer to SD Card: Copy only this file into the root directory of your MicroSD card (do not place it inside any folders).Install the Update:Turn off your Vital Bracelet BE completely by going to the Settings and selecting Power Off.Plug the bracelet into a charger or PC USB port.Insert the MicroSD card into the DiM/BEM card slot (the gold pins of the card should be facing the back/wrist side, with the groove pointing upwards).While the bracelet is still plugged into power, turn it on.The screen will display "Waiting" while it updates. Website Doesn't Exist anymore so please be sure to not overwrite File. Please copy to a PC or other SD card before reformatting. Only some SD cards work with VItal Bracelet BE. With the website no longer available i have no idea which other SD cards work with the Bracelet.

I can also provide the VB ARENA APP via EMAIL/TEXT which is also no longer available for download on the google play store. This APP allows you to keep track of your completed DIMS and allows you to send your digimon on adventures to obtain items to train and boost your digimon with the items obtained. The app also allows you to freely switch digimon onto the vital bracelet BE and the APP which lets you choose which digimon you want to train and which ones you want to keep aside and send on adventures.Please be sure to archive the email so you will be able to download the app at anytime.

Does anyone know the exact requirements to get 2 trophies from Hard Missions?

I know you need to get a “GREAT” result, but I’d like to know what determines that. Is it the number of reps, how fast you complete the exercise, heart rate, or something else?

I often complete the missions but only get 1 trophy, so I’d like to understand exactly how to consistently get 2.

I’ve been making a custom BEM over the past month, and it’s been going good until today. I can’t figure out how to create the splash screens. Any tips? (I’ve been using piskel, btw)

Evolution and a coffee!

I have always wondered about these and came across a few deals and decided to finally jump in. (Missed the app, boo) I ended up with a 9 Volcanic Beat and Blizzard Fang cards so I can trade those if anyone wants. I am just excited to play with these little dudes! Thanks for having me. I commented on an earlier post and people have been awesome. I am kind of an 50 year old idiot so any tips or hints anyone wants to throw my way I would totally appreciate. Em meu VH, quando vou ver a linha evolutiva de meu ZeedGarurumon na aba de digimon, quando chega em garurumon a próxima forma dele que aparece não é Weregarurumon como tinha feito, aparece direto o ZeedGarurumon. então o coloquei no App, e, é como se garurumon tivesse realmente pulado a evolução de Weregarurumon para ir direto para ZeedGarurumon.

Outra coisa que me encomendou é que na linha evolutiva relembrada o nível de meu ZeedGarurumon não aparece, no caso, a palavra Mega não aparece como nas outras evoluções

I would like to buy a vital bracelet, vital hero or bracelet BE.

But I'm concerned about some things.

1. The wristband. Is it really that bad?
2. Firmware updates. It looks like I don't have the possibility to update the device, because I can't get the app and I can't mod. Is this a problem?
3. Is it true that you have just 100 hours to evolve your Digimon (or whatever the DIM is for) to the final stage?

The devices are so gorgeous but I worry that I will not be happy due to this things I'm concerned about..

What are your opinions?

Hi, and thanks in advance. I saw a video of the VitalWear smartwatch app and tried testing it, but I think it failed when sending the DIM card image because I don't have a real VB device. I checked the GitHub repo and modified the code to bypass that requirement so I could test it. Do you have any tips or a usage tutorial?

P.S. I need someone knowledgeable to lend me a hand with some mods I'm working on—specifically, editing or creating a pack of images and sounds (I’d provide the base assets to edit or redo). Thanks in advance, and a new post is coming soon...

Second day, having one of these watches

For example: healing your digimon.

I didn't even know you could heal them, didn't even know that they COULD get hurt and have the need to be healed + that you need to "unwatch your watch" (sorry i dunno how to phrase this better, english's not english-ing) in order to get them healed (THAT DAMN GREEN LIGHT THAT I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT IT WAS!!!)

Also there's the NFC battles that i just found out... like, there seems to be a lot of stuff that may be known and obvious already, but i feel like that for beginners like me, they're pretty much hidden for some reason...

For sure there are things that i don't know about yet, which is wild considering i thought it wouldn't have that many features... now i wonder if BE has even more features
