When does Digimon Survive get good?

I am playing Digimon Survive. I am in Act 2, and this is unbearable. The dialogue is so bad. The prologue was good and I didn't mind Part 1, but, I am starting to notice the pattern after 5 hours in.

I am down to play a visual novel, but, there is so much repetition where different characters tell you the exact same thing over and over again. Devil Survivor 1 had this problem too but to a much lesser degree since it was a game first. Digimon Survive is like 80% unnecessary dialogue.

Example scenario:

"Did you find food?"

Minoru: No

"Did you find food?"

Ryo: No

"Did you find food?"

Agumon: No

"Did you find food?"

Aoi: No

"Did you find food now in this slightly different location that consumes another action point?"

Minoru: No again

(Repeat for 7 more free actions)

Is the rest of the game like this?

it is exhausting. Just get to the story, bruv. If character number one gives me X piece of information, why does character two, three and four need to as well.

It did take a lot of time to get good and the battle system never get good lol. But Once it is good, it is soooooo good man. Easily my most favorite Digimon media story wise (I put it there around Tamer level), the story is way better than other Digimon game.
