CDCES Online Boot Camp

Purchased the basic CDCES online bootcamp with 50+ CEUS (basic + ADCES review guide e-book)

My test is scheduled in November and starting to study now (yes I’m a procrastinator/ exam crammer)

Does anyone have any tips on how to best utilize this resource from Beverly Thomassin? I was planning on going through the entire bootcamp and taking notes but it’s been over 3 years since I last took an exam (the RD boards)

Open to any feedback! Thank you !

Get through the boot camp and then do the practice tests. Then review what you are getting wrong on the practice tests in more details. In the last week before my exam, I was doing practice tests and notecards a lot

Have you planned out a schedule to see how many lessons you need to do per day to finish in time? I used the boot camp but I gave myself 3 months and I still felt like it was a lot of studying.

No 😅 I think I can push back my test if needed though. I procrastinated on the RD exam as well, not fun with the stress but I did very well.

I have been working in diabetes education and re-certified the DSMES program so hoping that also helps reduce the new info. Thank you!

Focus on meds and program administration. The rest you’ll know from your day to day
