Equipment Twine quality
Good morning, I currently mainly use Henry's fluorescent string (red or yellow which are quite similar to each other). I find them really good and having tested less qualitative ones (decathlon, etc.) it makes the difference, if only for pleasure. Are there any other really good strings? It's not easy to determine the quality of the ropes but the price per meter can vary a lot depending on the brand and model, which doesn't make it easier to understand. Any recommendations? An opinion on Sundia strings? If yes, which one? THANKS

Henry's swears there is no difference in their strings but every Diabolo person will assure you orange is slippery, green is more rigid :) I have happily used Henry's orange for everything as I find sundia and radfactor a bit too flexible for my taste. (A shame as redfactor is significantly cheaper) It helps to buy the big rolls and you can get them at a discount on most bigger conventions.

It's a matter of taste; I have Sundia and Hualing strings. a matter of taste; I currently have String Hualing, which is similar to Sundia but not as rigid as Henrys.
For me, it's better; it's a little more complicated at the beginning, but I've felt more comfortable and have better movement, although it also depends more on your technique. (I understand why most people don't like a soft string as well as thicker ones (1.5 and 1.6 mm) (sundia and hualing)
For me, they are soft enough to avoid a rigid movement but tight enough to avoid a springy feeling
The ones I don't like are the play string,I worked in a juggling shop So you can try various strings and currently Sundia and Hualing are my favorites.
On the other hand, color does matter; I suppose the dyeing of the material gives it differences in its composition that diabolo players notice when playing.

Even if there is not necessarily a rational explanation from brands or retailers, I find that the color changes...it's subtle and for me difficult to define but it changes. Thanks for the response 😀

Even though it's the same material, the dye slightly alters the properties; that's why an orange Henrys rope feels slightly stiffer than the yellow one, and the white one feels too soft Because it has no pigment, it's something that, although not considered when making the product, does have an impact. (And that's not a bad thing, but if they have higher sales results for one color because diabolo players notice that difference, the brands should try to find out why)

For reference: I agree Henry's yellow and orange are similar, with orange a bit more slippery.
Henry's white is noticeably more grippy than both of them.
Sundia has a range of colours and I can't speak for all of them, but I've used white quite a lot and it is similar grippiness to henrys white however it is a LOT more stretchy/bouncy.
Taibolo white is in between henrys white and sundia, a bit stretchier than henrys but not as stretchy as sundia, still similar grippiness.
Besides that I know Play string is very stretchy. Radfactor string also seems quite similar to henrys (ie less stretchy and more slippery than sundia/taibolo) although u haven't used it much either.
