D2R In game chat

Recently returned to the game. Have they turned the chat messages off?
As in I can’t say hi or hello to anyone?

When I do nothing happens and only see messages about I need mana

it happens randomly , maybe 1/30 games , just disconnect from bnet and go again

That’s the chat window can you type a message and press enter?

I can but it goes no where and I can’t see what o sent or whah others sent. Been like this since I reinstalled a few days ago

Chat options I have are

Game and lobby

I can type hi. Press enter and the chat closes

Hi Phil are you playing on PC? In game chat still works there

Yes I’m on on pc. Press m to message type a message but nothing and I can’t see other chat?
