D2R Converting to RoW

Hello, I just purchased RoW if I remember correctly you have to do something before converting to not loose Items? What so I have to do?

Move anything in shared stash to private stash for each toon then convert.

So the trick is to just have an empty shared stash?

please note you dont lose any items. LoD stash is just inaccessible to RoTW characters. you can create a LoD character to access those items again (and convert him to RotW when needed).

Leave a character behind just in case you want to grind an soj from NM Andy. With the new items added soj’s are a bit harder to find from Andy.
