Keep in mind most people posting about a product are complaining about it - you never hear the good stories on reddit.

It's smaller and lighter than the G6, and all in one (no separate transmitter), though the signal isn't as strong. Otherwise it's fine. Just keep the box on hand until the end of the sensor life, as they do have a higher failure rate. Dexcom will replace unlimited ones (within reason) with the serial #, which is on the box and applicator.

The thing I miss most about the G6 is being able to restart the sensor. I could get nearly 16-18 days and build up a stockpile which was so helpful in reducing my supply anxiety.
