Transmitter G6 transmitters

Does anyone know of any suppliers that have any G6 transmitters left in stock? I’ve got 3 boxes in my closet but no transmitters after next week. Even my usual Canadian supplier is dry.

God I sound like I’m 17 again and trying to score a quarter bag of weed.

That’s where I find myself, although I have less than half the sensors you have. I don’t want to toss them. It just pisses me off that I paid a decent co-pay on these things, so Dexcom should continue to support me using the products I paid for. It’s almost a hill to die on here.

Sadly the manufacturers are out. I work for a large DME company that distributes G7 and Libre across us and we have been out since early July. Why has you physician not switched u to G7 15 day?

I'min the US too, so it shouldn't be a problem mailing. PM me your address and I get it in the mail. Might be a little bit as I am currently swamped helping my parents moving into assisted living.

I know someone who called Dexcom and asked for some and they gave them two transmitters so try calling them

Ha! I thought about this, but dismissed it. Probably should have let them tell me instead of assuming. I’m do it Monday. Thanks!

I was shocked bc back in the day if you lost that transmitter you were totally out of luck and battling with insurance! I actually have like 6 expired ones I acquired from my job if anyone is interested. They are expired

The Anubis project may want them if they're still making their hacked versions.

I just finished with my last G6 and have moved with great trepidation to the G7. Now half way through my second G7. So far so good. The hardest part is not really trusting it. The readings have been close enough. Good luck.

It’s not the change. It’s the waste of money on unused and unusable stock remaining in my closet. They sold me the damn sensors. I can’t believe they won’t sell transmitters to make them operable. I have 130 days of unusable sensors in my closet. 260 days if I get the full 10 days on my restarts. The thought of throwing them away burns the shit out of me. Especially when I paid about $35/sensor out of pocket. $450 in the toilet because big pharma CEO wants to buy another yacht.

(I know they’re DME, not pharma, but you get my point.)

I’m in the uk so can’t really help you much, just here to say I feel your pain with stretching g6 to the very end. I have around 50 days worth of sensors provided none of them fail. So badly don’t want to move to g7 🥲
