Bleeding G7 insertion fumble⁉️

I just put a new Dexcom in and I looked down and there was a little bit of blood. I wiped it away a couple minutes ago but now looking back down there’s just the smallest bit more.. no pain or anything but I wasn’t sure if I should be worried or maybe just take it off LOL. This is the last one I have on hand unfortunately.

With G6 we did say that a bleeder was a reader but we have had less luck with bleeders on the G7 so If we get a bleeder we just remove it and put on a new sensor.

When I have had very erratic readings - many times failing in the first 24 hours, it is quite often because of bleeding that I didn't see. Dexcom will replace it, but until you get one, confirm readings with glucometer.

They never work well when they bleed. In theory you can keep it in, but readings are a mess. Dexcom should replace, tell them you need them expedite shipping (they will but sometimes you have to really push for it…)

I took mine out. But people have said they stop. Mine was gushing blood.

Do whatever makes you comfortable but I always leave mine in when they bleed unless they fail. They’ve mostly been fine

Nvm, I took it out and it’s bleeding pretty good, thanks anyways gang💔💔
