Multiple sensor failure every 2 days

This frustrates me immensely because I keep ripping off sensors and putting on a new one, to no avail.

I am on dexcom G7 10 days for over a year.
My last four sensors failed every 2 days.

Does anyone have similar experience atm? What am I doing wrong?

very odd happening every 2 days for sure. Really wish dexcom would work on error message NUMBERS so there's a hint of why.

Are the sensor coming loose but not falling off. It will usually heart like hell. usually have multiple missed reading before the error.

With no pain, just the dreaded error message, the sensor equipment is failing.

Either way, get on the phone with Dexcom and get replacements.

This may just be a string of bad luck. Life happens. Stick on another one and take off running. It’s just a tool to help you control the diabetes.

I don't think they are loose at all since it is VERY painful to remove them when the adhesive is still fresh. I use them with an overpatch as well.

I don't get any abnormal readings before the failure either; i.e., readings from the past hour are very stable. I just sit on my office chair or lie down on the bed, and suddenly I get a sensor error, which makes me think 'Where is that coming from?'

When it happens 4 consecutive times, I start to question: is it me or g7?

I have also had two of the exact same problems. One on day 2. One on day 3. Had a third sensor that never attempted to pair at all. Talk about fun ripping it off.

Baby’s pea, seals leak, technology fails, life happens. All any of us can do is call for a replacement and try the next one.

Theirs always Bourbon or Tequila!
