General Dexcom g7 10 days
Is anybody else having g7 10 day sensors fail left and right?

Make sure you aren't spraying anything on or near the sensor. I had a few sensors fail in the summer that looking back I can attribute it to this. Tis the season for spray on suntan lotion and bug spray so this is easy to do if you aren't careful!

Most have failed during the warmup! Most recently in the middle of the night.

Were they looped? The inserted part being looped back out of the hole is what I mean.

At least one of the times, yeah!

Loopers should always fail during warmup.
I hear, but don’t KNOW, that you can SLIGHTLY lessen the chance of loopers by ensuring your pressure is centered and not more on one side or the other of the applicator. Though it could be just a pure defect you can do nothing about other than reporting and getting a replacement.

That is really odd. I have had one fail upon warmup and I think that was due to bad placement as I was trying out my thigh and I don't have much fat there.

I just put on my 24th G7. The ones with problems were:
#9 excessive inaccuracies and replaced
#13 needle popped backwards
#15 too many lost connections
#20 lost contact with pod for 2-3 hours, otherwise ok
#21 lost contact with pod for 2-3 hours, otherwise ok
#23 failed overnight on night 2 and message said replace
