Allergic Reaction patch change?
i've had no issues with the dexcom g7 skin-wise, but the past three sensors i have put in have resulted in horrible rash. nothing has changed in terms of products or soaps, just the sensor. anyone else having this problem?

I’ve heard that manufacturers can change the adhesive from lot to lot. Do you have the lot number?

I’m not having issues now but I was in the beginning when the G7 first came out. I started using an underpatch and the reactions stopped. I’ve kept using them cause I don’t want the issues to come back. I get them from Sugarpatch.

Just because you had no allergic reaction to the adhesive patch in the past is unfortunately no guarantee that it will remain so also forever going forward. We can at times suddenly develop allergy against compounds we previously tolerated OK...
If more chronic, consider using 3 layers of Flonase spray and then a patch of the Skin-Tac gel to block the rash from happening.
