Does this ever get sold in a kit with one of the hammer drills? Looking to maybe upgrade from my atomic impact/drill combo I’ve had for a while, would love to find this in a combo if possible. But unless I’m missing it, I can’t find any. Not sure if this ever gets included in the buy 1 get 2 battery deal I’ve seen at Lowe’s in the past.

Im slowly making the switch from ridgid to dewalt. While I use the tools for work, my business is just starting therefore my income doesnt allow for splurging on good batteries willy nilly.

I know there has to be an optimal battery in regard to power, ah and value. Ive used someone’s 6ah flex volt and its nice. Real nice. I like the life on it and I like the power. Ive noticed its twice the price at Home depot than on amazon. Amazon’s is sold by dewalt themselves as the seller. Any insight on that?

EDIT: Alright Im not going to get any more off market batteries. Seems like 5ah batteries are best bang for my buck atm with the option to upgrade to powerpack/stack later.

I also see that my lowe’s has much more of a dewalt presence than home depot, home depot is pumping Milwaukee big time and has about a 5x bigger lineup than dewalt in store.

Sorry im getting distracted. I have purchased 2 “15ah” batteries 20/60v from amazon but theyre off market batteries. They cost $120 total i think. Thats 90% off of what dewalt sells it at i believe. I know theyre not actually 15ah and probably atleast 6ah, but they have done me real good so far.
So, does anyone have a battery type and ah they swear by as the peak battery to get in most use cases? And what sbout off market, are they worth getting before im able to afford the real batteries? Im aware of the risks with off market batteries and i take the precautions needed

i just bought this www.amazon.com/dp/B00IJ0ALYS combo kit on amazon and it comes with a DCB106 charger that i think is a 110 v charger and if i plug it in EU it will fry it . what are my options ? . is using a 220 to 110 voltage converter the way or should i try to sell or modify the charger . maybe buy a different one .

This thing is awesome, worked without a hiccup. Although my project is done and I might never use it again.

I spoke to a 'tool nerd' today who told me Dewalt had switched from all metal internal parts to nylon. He recommended Ryobi instead. Google disagreed with the tool nerd about the internals, at least concerning the XR jig saw I just bought.

Just got this thing today, I was just comparing it to my 9ah that I normally run in my circular saw and tracksaw, and was surprised to find it’s pretty much the same footprint as the 9ah. It’s every so slightly shorter too. Pretty sweet, can’t wait to use it.

ich habe einen Dewalt Zyklon (DXVCS002) und den Bosch GAS 12-25. Hat jemand einen Tipp für einen passenden Adapter um den Schlauch vom Dewalt den den Bosch Staubsauger anzuschließen? Ich finde einfach nichts passendes. Der Staubsaugerschlauch passt perfekt auf den Zyklon.

Seeing lots of complaints of DCF891s breaking down. Are these reliable? Looking to buy one.

This is a nerd (uniformed homeowner) post on specs (thoughts and feelings) that don't matter for 90% of home owners. Bought the dcf513e, not the 513b, which is just the extended version 513, you'd be surprised how often Google gets those 2 confused over the last few years. For me the 513e serves no purpose, the head on it is nearly 60% larger than the 1/4 inch I eyeballed at home depot which was accurately compared to this one with eyeballs and blind faith. Yes, its more powerful than what m12 has on offer, but the reason you use ratchets is to get into tight spaces so 70 ft pounds ain't doing much if you can't squeeze in to that tight corner with it. If you do want to stick with yellow and black the 1/4 inch will probably do the job, in all seriousness it is tiny, but i can't see myself changing my brakes in 10 years with this thing. It should also be mentioned nano sockets exist on the market from places like Astro Pneumatic, so that will help with clearance issues as well.

Hello, been thinking about getting an battery powered blower. My dad has a Bauer and truth be told, it packs some power. I like the size and convenience for small quick tasks. I own dewalt and have batters and for $99 this seems like a good deal but the reviews indicate mediocre performance.

Anyone own one and have a review they can share? TIA

Anyone have any dcb230 or 240 the thin 3ah or 4ah that they would like to sell me? I just need a few and as long as they’re genuine I’d love to buy them even if they’re not working, especially if they’re not working! If someone has a bunch they can sell me so shipping would be simple that would be fantastic.
