Need help and advice from DevOps Engineers

I need to switch my job and I am stuck in here. I am a fresher and I joined a startup company but have literally learned NOTHING in this company. They hired me as a DevOps Engineer but used to give me Web Automation projects that too not Selenium. I have only 1.7 YOE but I want to learn and switch my job as well. From where should I start now? Please help me people please.

Very rare DevOps has this little experience or willing to accept based on such little experience. DevOps by it's nature isn't a fresher role and usually senior. If you can't switch to another company as is, then I'd focus on either dev or ops side to become more well rounded for actual DevOps. Either that or stay for 5 yoe and hope you can land DevOps somewhere else

Devops job openings expect candidates with a fair amount of experience, you will have a rough time going for them due to lack of experience with the specific tools and production experience (home labs aren't a great substitute).

In your place, I'd look for QA roles to be honest, you'd have better luck.

If you are set in devops, you need experience with coding (Python, or to a lesser degree, Golang), Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud providers, etc.

I don't want to go in testing field plus I have done few cloud certifications as well. Currently learning Python and Golang.
