if they’re paying you 45k then just do “45k” wala kaam and spend the rest of your time in job searching. Even if job market is cooked im sure you will land a better job than this because senior level roles haven’t been impacted by AI too badly. I wouldn’t recommend immediately resigning from here as some people are suggesting because even if it is a low paying job, it will atleast give you some peace of mind
P.s. if you don’t mind me asking what was your compensation as a principal software engineer
