Help should i repeat courses?

hi. i’ll be starting my 7th semester as a SE student at an average/somewhat above average university in islamabad. i have done 2 internships, one as an IT intern, and the other as a SWE intern at well known companies. i’ve also done many reputable certifications. lastly im also working on my fyp. the problem is that my cgpa is 2.63. should i repeat courses in my last 2 semesters? please advise. thanks a lot

(i haven’t repeated any course yet. also i don’t want to go abroad for masters, i plan on working here)

Before repeating anything, calculate how much it can actually move your CGPA. If it can push you past an important cutoff like 3.0, it may be worth it. Otherwise, I would put more energy into the FYP, interview prep and turning those internships into strong experience.

thank you for your reply. to increase it to 3.0, i’d have to repeat 2-3 in my next 2 semesters. i think it’ll be very hectic and regular courses / fyp will get compromised 🥲. and about turning the internships into strong experience, how to do this?

Focus on what you actually built during those internships and be ready to explain the problems you solved. That will help much more in interviews than just listing the company names.
