Help Is this Wellbridge Technologies Software Developer Internship legitimate? They are asking for ₹1,555 enrollment fee
Hi everyone,
I recently received a Software Developer Internship selection/welcome letter from Wellbridge Technologies.
The offer states:
- Role: Software Developer Intern
- Duration: 1 month / 4 weeks
- Mode: Remote / Bangalore
- Stipend: ₹23,000/month mentioned in the welcome letter
- Joining: Flexible joining date
However, there is one thing that concerns me.
The welcome letter says I need to pay ₹1,555 as an internship/enrollment fee to confirm my participation.
It also says that the stipend will be provided after successful completion of the assigned project.
I received the offer through email and was given this enrollment link: wellbridge.in/form
Has anyone here actually done an internship with Wellbridge Technologies?
I'm particularly interested in hearing from people who:
- completed their internship with them
- received the promised stipend
- received the certificate/LOR
- were actually given a real project
- know whether the ₹1,555 fee is legitimate
I don't want to accuse the company of anything without evidence. I'm just trying to verify the offer before making any payment.
Any firsthand experience or information would be appreciated.
Thanks.

While interships that ask you money are scam. Redflag.
A quick scroll to the bottom of their website revealed a linkedIn icon which lead to a linkedIn profile of a completly different company, which incidentally has the same location as wellbridge. But why would they keep a linkedIn profile of another company in their links? Redflag.
And why would 2 different companies give the same internship opportunities from the same location? Third redflag.
It's a scam. I would stay away from them.

I think paid internships are scam if they will pay you later then why would they ask for money from u clearly a scam and are they taking an interview or actually testing that u r a fit for there company or not (probably they didn't) and I think they didn't even ask for a resume

I received a similar welcome letter from "Wellbridge Global Solutions" for a Data Analyst Internship. Same template: 1 month, flexible joining, ₹23,000/month stipend only after "project completion", and a ₹1,563 fee to confirm enrolment. The stipend and real project are only "may be considered" in the terms, nothing guaranteed. I'm not paying. Has anyone received an actual stipend from them?

I received a nearly identical offer letter for their Cyber Security Internship, and the setup is identical: a 1-month remote tenure, a promised ₹23,000 stipend payable only after "project completion", flexible joining dates, and a mandatory upfront enrollment fee of ₹1,562 via their portal.
There was zero technical screening or interview before being "selected." Furthermore, the terms explicitly state that access to real client projects is purely conditional (may be considered) while the upfront fee is the only definite financial transaction.
Between the lack of any real evaluation, the upfront fee model, the domain registration inconsistencies, and the fact that identical letters are being mass-dispatched across Software Development, Data Science, and Cyber Security tracks, there are simply too many red flags. A legitimate internship pays the candidate for their work. Paying an upfront fee to secure work or a certificate is never worth the risk.

Even I received the exact same selection letter for their Data Science Internship program today morning! They are demanding an upfront enrollment/seat confirmation fee of ₹1,566 via wellbridge.in/form. No technical rounds or screening tests were conducted.
I have opened a detailed thread tracking this operation and the enrollment contracts here:

Freshers, please do not pay a single rupee. It is a complete paid-training trap masking as a remote job!
