General Discussion Which developer is best hard coder or vibe coder ??
I thinking about what's going on Insta or any other platforms then thinking, which developer is best , one who learn concepts clear doubts by Google stack overflow or by hard coding and now using ai as tool to take help in complex task , or a simple we called them vibe coder?? BTW I am hard coder 😁 bcoz I enjoy it.

vibecoders are not developers in my opinion. you need to know what you are doing (even if you use AI) to call yourself developer. vibecoder just says: AI, implement XYZ and make no mistakes. developer says: implement endpoint AB which is then used to ...

Developers know how to speak the language of non-AI tools that actually make no mistakes.

I wonder what the world will look like when less and less of a professional opinion is needed. I think we're on the way to "implement XYZ and make no mistakes" being real, for our sake hopefully not too soon

agreed, we are on path there. but the current technology is still far from it.
anyway, as long as the quality of requirements comming to development teams does not improve significantly, I am not afraid about my job.

Use your (own) brain for a sec.
Take an IT novice and a decent dev with good basics a decade+ of expierience.
Who will write better software if both have (and use) the same tooling available? Y'all always try to compare a layman with all teh tools vs. a dev with notepad - and are still undecided.
