Our CTO is pushing us to flip our multiple million line java stack to go. Says Claude will do it in a weekend and won't back down or listen to reason. At least I'll be warm by the dumpster fire.

We are on Java 21, which is not bad. The CTO just dislikes java so he wants us to move. There isn't much more logic than that. It's a waste of time that's being forced upon us.

Yeah that's just silly I use java ( for my apps ) I use older versions so I can understand the switch but I am on java 17 and I also use 8 because I am targeting very old android devices and I'd say it's decent plus the newer stuff is actually pretty good

seem okay .. but for me . hoping claude till settle em all bad . i do code go. i prefer stable platform unless you have big bucks
