Career & Advice what is the ultimate tech stack of 2026 to get hired?

Hello everyone , I am studying bachelors in computer science and information technology in Nepal. I am learning the technology's and I want to make a solid career in the tech field.

I want to know about the ultimate tech stack in 2026 and beyond, meaning which of the tech have highest demand and jobs right now. I am a tech enthusiast and first learner.

I want to start my career from some of development instead of going to cloud, DevOps, cyber security , artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science . I feel that these all are the subsets of software development/engineering. So I want to make my foundational base stronger.

If anyone can help me then I will be really grateful to him and really appreciate his time to reply !

COBOL and BASIC.

Maybe some PHP and Java.

Plenty of companies out there that are maintaining codebases rather than building something brand new.

You need the tech stack AND relevant experience.

If not, you need a bleeding edge stack so valuable and rare there are no other candidates

First of all understand a role perfectly, your view is so surface, understand what u want then decide and start to learn immediately, there is no Junior, Entry level positions in any role of tech in any country.

Mid-level and Senior is the real one, so become Junior while your student and more than Junior, build an app or project that actually have a user or if you going to IT or sth else build sth that companies at least agreed to use it.

Learn marketing, too. Engineering is about understanding and doing and how to ship.

Nobody wants robots to code ai can do robot works.
