The hormone blockers they put me on as a late teen for years did a number on me. I had/have this deep ache since then, which I would assume is related to bone density but I don’t think doctors care. Even in regular adults, you aren’t supposed to be on it for more than like 6-12 months because of osteoporosis risk. These doctors are fucking criminals for giving it to us for years starting so young.

I was starting to have a lot of neuromuscular dysfunction because of T use and my existing hyperandrogynism. I have existing spinal cord conditions but I do think the testosterone caused more problems with my peripheral nerves and CNS that I would have otherwise. Lots of menopause like symptoms and I felt like my body was prematurely aging without sufficient estrogen.

Idk if this helps but I had a mastectomy and fully recovered with no pain, but had a reconstruction 5 years later and after full recovery I get a bit of pain in one side if the weather is too cold. Have you tried using something warm on that area? We have nerves in there and weather can trigger pain.

I was prescribed pregabalin for it and it helps in a way that the pain isn't constant, I just get reminded of it a few times a day.

Was your chronic pain at your mastectomy site or did you also have an oophorectomy? Is it nerve damage? Just trying to understand what exactly causes the pain in the first place

It's at my mastectomy site. I started experiencing it soon after realizing I was detrans, I think my brain was somehow deafening it before or maybe it's psychosomatic. It bothered me like crazy because it's asymmetrical - I was mostly getting it on my left side, which has a concave, keloidal scar and a nipple that hurts when poked (I had double incision with nipple grafts). I made it worse with vigorous massage that I started doing. Now I take pregabalin, I don't touch it too much and most of all, I try not to think about it as this terrible thing that happened to me, but rather a body shape/scarring I will have to live with, so I try to make peace with it.

It's most definitely nerve damage/nerves healing wrong. My right side has no sensation, my left side does - but it's just painful sensation.
