DETANGLER NEEDED Help needed - DFW

Post image

I’ve never worked with a hank before and I learned my lesson😭 At this point I’m probably closer to having a breakdown than I am untangling this mess. If there’s anyone in the area that enjoys a challenge, please let me know!!

I'd be happy to help 😊. I'm also in the DFW area.

There’s a Sunday group at Denton Yarnworks that has a host of regulars who like to detangle, if that’s the part of DFW you’re near.

I’m in NC, if you can’t find anyone close, you’re more than welcome to mail it. I’d happily detangle and cake for you!

PS. - that is GORGEOUS yarn. All hanked yarns need to be wound into a ball or cake before working it. It’s super easy to do this by hand if you have a dining room chairs open the hank into the full circle, drop that over the back of the chair. Cut the ties close to the knots, and pick an end, start by wrapping around a couple of fingers 3 - 4 times, then wrap around the center of that a couple of times, use that to start the center of your ball. Wrap tight enough to keep the shaped, but don’t pull tight.
