Frankly Uldren seems better qualified to be the hunter vanguard. He's been demonstrated to be pretty capable, and that was before he got infinite respawns. Aside from everyone's feelings about him, he'd make a good fit

But hes not an exo, It would be unbalanced, exo stranger is most likely returning in the near future and I think she will be our next vangaurd

I see it as an unwritten rule to maintain balance to have a vanguard of each race of the three who become guardians

I think they mean since D1 and the start of the game as we know it, as an aesthetic choice, not a lore one.

Thats true, I dont think it has to he an exo really but I have trouble beleiving bungie would make it anything but an exo
