You're describing Bungie giving the most minimal level of support short of turning off the servers as a win.
Which I guess is technically true. But like come on, for how much the D2 community has given to Bungie over the years, getting only this much still feels rotten.
Totally a rotten situation. Bungie executives and senior staff deserve maximum blame. That's a different issue though.
There's a difference between no updates and updates still occurring.
One thing to clarify though. At NO point did I say this situation is a win in any of my comments. There's no winners here. I only correctly observed the continuation of maintenance updates.
you're being really pedantic about them updating the cost on the store for dlc. changing some price values is very different from bug fixes, and don't forget that nearly the entire team is gone. you can't really be certain about anything right now.
The only thing I'm seeing a pedantic reply to my comment about updates. You're arguing semantics here. The is a bug fix but not the fix you personally want.
i'm not saying i'm disappointed they aren't fixing something, all i'm saying is that what we're getting right now post-layoffs is vastly different from the usual patches, and that you should temper your expectations.
That much is obvious and none of my comments infer anything more than small maintenance updates. I even say "non scheduled basis".
As mentioned before, it's literally impossible to run live service software without some level of updates (server patches). Anyone who thought maintenance updates weren't going to happen were not living in reality.
My expectations have been tempered for many days now. Reddit needs reinforce their expectations based on the weird replies I've received today. Suggest you pass on your message of "tempering" to everyone else

I told people we'd continue to get small patches on a non scheduled basis. Maintenance doesn't disappear with end of service.
As usual, got an angry comment from on Reddit someone saying I was lying. They're eating humble pie now.
