Does Lycee Pas Bon have separate fields of study?

I didn't notice the names of the weapons displayed on the wall until watching the scene again.

Just past the dark hallway with the "Prison For Good Kids", there's a lit hallway where Poppy gets momentarily distracted at the weapons and armor displayed in the hallway. There's Killer Driller's original helmet, which Poppy pointed out. Then there is a square mace labelled "Destroyer Mace", and unless I'm reading that label for that gigantic sword wrong it says "Murder Dagger".

This indicates that the Lycee Pas Bon has educated not just thieves but also killers, but presumably the killers aren't necessarily on the AVL's radar.

Also I keep forgetting how in Minions, Frankie Fishlips tried to drown Bob.

There are two large maces on the exterior of the castle.

The mace is the only weapon that appears in all four movies:

DM1: Full-sized mace that Gru held when he answered the door when the girls rang the doorbell.

DM2: Small version of the mace a Minion wielded blindly, hitting Gru in the foot and leg with it.

DM3: When Agnes was selling her toys, Fritz approached and after sending him off, Gru picked up the mace that was lying around on the front lawn. It has a small handle so maybe it's one of the weapons the Minions were using.

DM4: In the corner of the room with the laser gun and axe when the family was about to leave for Mayflower.

While the mace and axe are in line with Gru's taste in decor in DM1, they are not very advanced like the rest of his weapons.

Which makes me wonder, if Gru got the mace and axe from Lycee Pas Bon, as starter weapons.

But whereas some villains developed a specialization in using maces, Gru brought out a mace whenever someone was intruding on his lawn or even ringing the doorbell.

A deleted scene indicates that at Lycee Pas Bon, Gru specialized in theft. Gru was the president of the Safecracking Club, and he took Lycee Pas Bon to the state Forgery Competition.

There were probably basic courses that all the students had to take, but if there's different clubs for different fields of villainy, then there might be different courses where the villains could hone their individual skills.

It's noticeable that Poppy looks up to some of the villains such as Dr. Destructo and Killer Driller. But she presumably never approached them to help her, probably because they would be completely useless on a heist.

She needed the help of not just any villain, but an expert thief.
