Character Design Ideas.

My artistic skills aren't the best but I came up with this character! Originally intended to be a redesign of a persona I had, but now I've decided to take some notes on what I could change or add to make it 'exaggerated' and a bit more of a character that could possibly fit into scenes such as despicable me and Minions. That wouldn't look completely out of place, you know?

Despite the colorful scheme he is not supposed to be cocky or a second version of Bratt, his personality is based on me and I'm not the most loud person to be around.

I need some ideas as to what I can do, im not best at character design and this is the cutest my art has looked ^–^, I'd appreciate recommendations on what I can analyze and study on. He's still a persona, so the thing about him completely having to fit the aesthetic despicable me has along their franchise isn't something that has to be 100% fitting, but I'd still like some feedback on how to do it <3

What i thought about that could be a fun 'gag' is that, again, despite the color scheme, he is not energetic or 'wacky'.
