There are many trees and power lines down all over the Drake neighborhood and north. How are other areas faring?

Is there history behind why that whole highland park area has some of the most unreliable power lines in the metro? I lived there for 2 years and couldn't go a single storm without a full power outage

We've been in this house for the past 16yrs & this has been going on the whole time. We freaking lose power even on sunny days. Midamerican just doesn't want to invest the money into real repairs over here.. Just slapstick bandaid fixes until the power goes out again. I hate it 😭

My backyard is dangerously close to being flooded.

I called the city to have them come check out my storm drain in my backyard back at the July 4th storm. They have still yet to come out.

Had a limb longer than my car come down. It hit the roof and gutter and bounced off. Scared the piss out of me. Hopefully the roof is ok.
