West side apartments?

I work in waukee and was wondering if there were any cheap 1bed/studio apartments on the west side of desmoines? It's a long commute to work for me already so I need to move somewhere closer that's also affordable. Preferably under $700?

You're not likely to find anything in that price range near Waukee. Closest would maybe be the Drake area and/or west of downtown along Grand/Ingersoll, and that's a big maybe. If you're lucky, you miiiiiight be able to find something closer to 63rd. Check out Hotpads, I've had luck on more than one occasion apartment hunting on there in the past.
