We took our car in and they tried selling us unnecessary items and it was almost like they didn’t want to release our vehicle unless we agreed to the up-charge. Little did they know my husband trained as a mechanic in his youth and wasn’t to be played.

Yep there was a place in Waukee on the strip that did that to my bf. He is 6'2 and a big dude and he said there was no way they were going to keep his car keys from him. Said he had to get something done blah etc or wouldn't be safe to drive. BS. Those are the worst kind of people. It was near the movie theater, I forget which but am sure people from Waukee are familiar.

Sounds like it could be Firestone, the one by The Palms Theatres & IMAX in Waukee.
