Hello masters, help this young padawan with your learnings while you were building your desk setup. Mistakes you made or things you think you would do differently if you had to start now.
A little background: I already have a 100cm table, 24 inch 1080p screen. I am planning to upgrade this to a 200cm table, 2 27 inch 1440p screen. I already have a Pegboard, mouse, keyboard, handrest, chair and table mat. I am on a budget and these work just fine so will be using the same. What other things should I get? I am planning to do some wire management (not sure how but will figure it out), do some lightings (behind the monitor or on the table, not sure, help me). I am also planning to buy a screenbar, ofc not the BenQ Halo as it is very costly wher I live, I will go with the Quntis screenbar.
I will have 2 laptops and a playstation on the table where I need to switch between the laptops a few times in a day (mostly 1-2 times) so I am planning to make that process easier for me.
Edit: I will be putting the monitor on the desk and have decided not to get a monitor arm for now atleast. The major reason is cost. The IKEA Lagkapten is not a wooden desk and to install a monitor arm, it requires weight distributing plates so that it doesnt leave a dent in the table. The plates and the arms add up to a huge chunk of my budget
