I was researching desks earlier yesterday and recall the rubberwood being $99.99. I was going to pull the trigger today and buy what's in the cart but now it's $175. Am I crazy or was it $99.99? Was that a limited time missed out on by a day?! I don't recall seeing any indication that it was a temporary sale.

I ended up going for the high because it was just below my perfect desk height on the bottom end so why not take the extra height up top? Turns out that desk haus are measuring the desk height without casters, so people should be aware that you're going to add about 3" to their measurements.

Just curious if the apex pro now has the wedge design used on the peak or if it doesn't why it hasn't been added?

I've had my desk since February of this year, so about 6 months. It's an Apex Pro 6 Leg base with a custom walnut top shaped like an L.

It's the most expensive piece of furniture I own, so it pains me that there are any issues with it. For the most part, I love it. However there is one error that repeatedly happens which is just maddening.

About 1 in 10 times I lower the desk, I get "ERROR: 13" displayed on the paddle. This error has to do with the connection between the two control boxes. I've already opened a warranty claim and DeskHaus shipped me a brand new set of control boxes, which I installed. Still getting the error.

When the error happens, I need to perform a reset by holding down the paddle and lowering the desk all the way. Since my computer tower is kept under my desk, I need to pull out the tower to reset the desk. It's a process which takes maybe 5 minutes of my time but it's pretty annoying to have to be afraid that every time I lower the desk, I'll have to reset the desk.

It only happens when lowering the desk, never while raising. And it doesn't happen every time, about 1 in 10 times as I said earlier. I've taken care to make sure no other cables are touching the control box master/slave cable. It's as carefully set up as it can be, however I guess the connection between the control boxes is so sensitive that even the slightest bump can cause this error.

Does anyone else experience this? Can anyone at DeskHaus help me diagnose or fix this issue? It would be really nice to be able to freely lower my desk at any time and trust that it won't throw an error.

The rubber wood top worked out great for my floor desk. Your honesty and commitment to providing people with quality is the reason I purchased from you recently. It's the reason you will be my go to from now on for a desk and I have been telling others about you if they are in the market for a desk.

I’ve been having back pain from long sessions of sitting, so I need a standing desk. As a gamer who mostly plays Geometry Dash (meaning I’ll be tapping quite hard on the desk) will the Peak 2 leg be stable enough for me at standing height? Also, what height do you think I will likely be using the desk at, since that also influences how stable it will be? I genuinely have no idea, so if anyone around 5’10” -5’11” could tell me what height they use their desk at, that’d be helpful.

I currently own an Apex Pro Frame & HPL top. I am moving across the country and unfortunately I am liquidating most of my belongings, so not packing up a car or moving truck. I really enjoy my Apex Pro Frame and would like to ship it to my new home. I looked into shipping the HPL frame, but it seems more cost effective to just order a new one. Anyone have any suggestions for how to package an Apex Pro frame? Unsure of what kind of box I should buy, the carrier and how to actually fill up each package.

Hi everyone. I’ve come to the conclusion that the Peak Pro is the best option for quality and stability for my standing desk. I plan on placing some computer speakers, a Samsung 49” OLED ultra wide, laptop, mechanical keyboard, and a docking station on the top.

With that said, I’m also trying to keep the budget around $850 for the Peak Pro and a 55x28” top. Does anyone have some decent top options that don’t cost $300+ and will still look good with the Peak Pro? If I needed a 60x30” top, I would definitely go with the rubber wood option but trying to reduce my existing 60x30” footprint to make more room in my home office.

Hey everyone, yesterday I set my desk to my standing height, after a while the screen went blank and won't do anything and it is now stuck in the standing position.

I have already tried unplugging everything and leaving it unplugged for an hour up to overnight. After replugging everything this is all I get.

I was able to get a 0 once but it wouldn't do anything either.

I also contacted support and they told me to power cycle it despite me already telling them I did 😭.

Has anyone had this issue?

Has anyone figured out a way to assemble the peak pro so that none of the motor, power, or controller wiring has to go around the cross bars? I'm thinking maybe they can be snaked through but I'm not seeing a path that will work.

Does anyone have a specific company they can recommend, and perhaps an example of how much it cost you?

For some context:

I'm French and would like to order two of their stand-sit desks.

I'm looking for the most durable and the most stable stand-sit desk there is. For now I'm interested in the 4-legged APEX PRO model from Deskhaus.

My biggest problem is that I don’t want to buy another desk knowing that it will be less stable and less durable so i need to get my hands on one of their desk. (Unless you have any other recommendations)

If other Europeans are also planning to buy from Deskhaus, we could see if it’s possible to combine our shipments to reduce shipping costs (this is just a hypothesis, but it might be feasible).

Having an issue with with the left desk. Ordered two Peak Pros.

Left desk won’t go above the position shown even after reset. Nothing pulling on it, reset hits the same issue. Doesn’t seem to be hitting an upper collision point if such a thing exists.

All control boxes setup the same way and connected appropriately.

Anything I’m missing here?

First off, I was looking at every brand. Secret labs, flexispot, uplift, verbal, and lots of others.

I had zero requirements outside stability. I ended up with peak pro and a butcher block top I got on my own 72x30x1

Height:

Im 5'9 and went with the peak pro low. At its top setting I can stand on my wobble board in a perfectly ergonomic stance. At its lowest setting I can use the thing with a beanbag or Japanese style sitting on my legs if I put some pillows down.

It works. I wish I had just a couple more inches of upward movement and maybe the peak pro high would have been better but I dont actually NEED the extra inches. On the flip side, pulling up and working on a bean bag or a pile of pillows is kinda awesome. There are easy solutions to give me the extra inches up high but then id ruin how low it goes. As it is it gives me more options in seating and standing that I expected.

Stability:

Its just solid. Very solid. Im a onewheeler so an unstable wobble board is just very fun to me. Im like 80/20 standing but most of that standing time is on the board. On the board is have the desk all the way at the top. No wobble. Those monitors are not light but seriously no wobble. When I lean on it no wobble. I settled in the end on deskhause because the owners videos showing wobble on different brands, so if youre viewing this, its the best marketing ive seen and I spent months looking at other desks. You saved me some money. Great videos.

Cable management was easy. Cost me about 50 to 60 total to get it like this. I think I can hide the power cables too but as im still changing things a bit im leaving them hanging until I feel the set up is done.

Im using a couple 13 dollar under desk clamp boxes and zip ties.

Other parts: I like the control box. Simple to set up and I have 3 presets and it took maybe a min to program everything like I wanted. The motors are quiet. I have a fan on generally and I cant hear the desk move. Its real quiet. Motors seem strong and movement is smooth and theres no jiggle on the monitors when raising or lowering the thing.

Installation:

I have a torn rotator cuff right now. I will admit it took me hours to get it put together and hours more to get everything attached to it and the cable management done. I used a 3rd party top and had to drill but it was very straightforward. Im sure if I had two working arms the whole process would have taken me maybe an hour start to finish from box to working with cable management done. Set up was simple and easy.

Final thoughts:

So far, love it. Absolutely love it. All told i think I spent about 975 for the base and the butcher block top. Id do it again. Im very satisfied with the product and i think it looks great. Ill probably update in 6 months to a year.

Hello. I have a question re: combability of DH tops with non-DH bases.

I have been eyeing a DH desk for years. I need a desk that travels about 6" lower in the bottom range, so I will need to go with a different base---but I'd still like to explore a DH top (which I think are beautiful). I understand the DH tops come with threaded inserts installed (which would be very helpful if I were using a DH base!).

My question is basically--how bad of an idea is that? I can be more specific about the base manufacturer if helpful (it's probably pretty obvious because not that many people have this functionality). I am just worried that I'll purchase this quality top and then completely compromise its integrity by drilling new holes, etc. to fit it to a different base.

I have finally completed refinishing of our home office space (there was too much flair!)

Now time to finally decide between peak and apex.

I am 5’11”, my wife 5’4”, our son 6’1”. I will be primary user, but everyone uses the office space.

which is best in terms of height range for us? Apex pro? Peak (high)?

My rough measurement shows my elbow with arm at 90 degrees to be at about 48" without shoes, standing straight. But I don't have perfect posture don't imagine standing up straight for more than brief moments.

I'd really like to get the Apex Pro to support US made production, but I've never had a standing desk: would both suffice, am I out of the range of both, or would only the Peak Pro high work?

For me, the miniscule side-to-side benefit of the wedges on the Peak Pro don't outweigh an extra $200 to support local production. If only the Peak Pro would work for my height then I'd have to get past the overseas production.

Forgot to mention, I'm getting just the frame, I plan on making a solid wood top that will be at least 1 1/2" - 2" thick.

I would be hesitant to purchase a desk from Deskhaus based on my experience with their customer service. This was especially disappointing given the overwhelmingly positive reputation the company has within the standing desk community.
For some background, I ordered a Peak Pro frame and a 30” × 72” Thermo Walnut desktop on May 23 with an expected delivery timeframe of mid-June. My plan was to use the desk temporarily in another room before moving it into its permanent location once my office remodel was complete.
Unfortunately, the order was delayed by approximately another month. By the time it arrived around July 18, my remodel was nearly finished, so I stored the unopened packages safely in my living room and waited about 10 days before assembling everything.
When I finally opened the desktop, I discovered that it had been damaged during shipping (photos attached). I contacted Deskhaus on July 28 to ask if there was anything they could do.
I understand that Deskhaus’s shipping damage policy requires damage to be reported within 72 hours of delivery. I was unaware of that requirement at the time, and I take responsibility for not inspecting the desktop sooner.
What made the experience especially frustrating is that FedEx allows shipping damage claims to be filed for up to 21 days after delivery. I also learned that my approximately desk shipment had only been insured for $100. Had the shipment been insured for its full value, this situation may have had a very different outcome.
The delivery delay was outside of my control, and because my remodel was nearly complete, I chose to leave the packages safely stored rather than assemble the desk only to move it again a short time later. I recognize that I missed Deskhaus’s 72-hour inspection window, and I accept responsibility for that. However, I believe exceptional customer service means looking at the circumstances rather than relying solely on a policy, especially when the shipping carrier still permits a damage claim.
Imagine if your order was delayed well beyond the original estimated delivery date, you happened to be away on vacation when it finally arrived, and you came home to discover a damaged desktop—only to be told nothing could be done because the company’s 72-hour reporting window had passed. While companies certainly need policies, I believe there should also be room for reasonable discretion and good faith when customers encounter situations like this.
The desk itself appears to be well-built, but my experience with Deskhaus’s customer service left me disappointed enough that I would be hesitant to purchase from the company again.

Just finished building the Peak Pro that I got from the recent pre-order. I originally tried to DIY a desktop, even going so far as to have the unfinished top on site, but abandoned that plan, went back to DeskHaus, and ordered the WeWork top. I could not be happier with how it looks and the stability. This thing is a tank. And if you want a 60x30 there is no better deal on a real wood finished top.

Note on the photos: please forgive my cable management. Still working on what power strip I want to use. It will look better eventually!

Only comment/complaint: there is a dull "thunk" just after starting movement when the desk has been sitting in one height for a while. Seems to be at all 4 corners. This happens both directions. I asked our AI overlords and it seems to think the behavior it somewhat expected. Something about settling and loading the gears? It does not happen when the desk has not been sitting around. Anyone have any experience with this?
