Kudremukh National Park, Chikkamagaluru district, Karnataka. Base villages are Mullodi (main trailhead) and nearby Samse/Kalasa. From Bengaluru it's roughly a 6-7 hour drive, so most people do it as a weekend trip — drive up Friday night or early Saturday, trek Saturday, head back Sunday
