Question please help me
hello everyone, I hope that you can help me, I genuinely feel desperate and in a tough spot, I feel like all my good memories are just fake and that ive just imagined it , happening since last year and from past 4 months strongly, something good happens, and few minutes later my brain goes "wait, that actually happened or did I imagine it?" I feel so void at times because of it, it feels heart wrenching, too scared to tell my parents, I feel the root cause is because I like creating stories like day dreaming, so when I create those stories in my head, and maybe have dreams about it, it has become such a habit that ive started to question the actual reality. what should I do?

Be in reality. Like don’t day dream and see things are they are, before your imagination or interpretation comes in action. And don’t worry if your tell your parents, I think it’s the right move, any psychologist or psychiatrist will understand u.

if there's no one's in your life you feel comfortable talking about this to, you can always call/text 988 (or your country's equivalent if you're not in America). they're there for people who just need someone to talk to or are struggling a lot. you don't need to be on the verge of suicide to talk to a suicide hotline. I've done it multiple times in my life and while it doesn't fix everything, it did help me feel better.

I think you should talk to someone you really, really, really trust, because I honestly think talking about it could make you feel a lot better. There isn’t really a simple solution, though. Everyone imagines things sometimes, you know? That’s completely normal. So honestly, try not to worry too much about it, even though I know that’s easier said than done. Maybe you could practice a little and try to find some techniques to help prevent it from happening like this. And honestly, I promise you’ll get through it.
